We are beyond excited to welcome Wesley White, affectionately known in the 7v7 community as Coach Buckets, to MidAmerica 7v7 Football!
With over 30 years of experience as a scout, recruiter, and writer, Coach Buckets brings unparalleled expertise and passion to our organization. Known for his keen eye for talent and his ability to tell the stories behind the athletes, Buckets will serve as our Head of Recruiting, Scouting, Media, and Storytelling. His mission is simple: get athletes’ names out there, highlight teams at our events, and provide an insider’s perspective on the 7v7 game.
Buckets has spent decades traveling to 7v7 tournaments across the nation—from Florida to Colorado, Texas to Pennsylvania—scouting talent and sharing his insights with players, coaches, and fans alike. In addition, he recruits for College Prospect Camps, helping athletes find opportunities to play at the next level while creating in-depth scouting articles that college coaches rely on as “boots-on-the-ground” reporting.
Beyond the field, Buckets is a devoted family man. He is a loving husband to his supportive wife, proud father of two boys and a daughter, and doting grandfather to two granddaughters—the loves of his life.
